Any tea experts? What type of tea has dried flowers that open as it's brewed?

My sister once brought home some of this tea from a China-town in Canada. I didn%26#039;t care for the taste, but it was very eye-appealing. It brewed to a pretty pink color and had some flowers that were in each packet, if I recall correctly.

I%26#039;d like to use it for decorative purposes for my wedding reception! Thanks for any informed help you can provide.

If you know WHAT it is, I%26#039;d also love to know where I could purchase it, or any other interesting details about it.

Tea connoisseur at your service... these are known as display teas. Best prepared in glass teapots, these hand-tied teas are not only beautiful but can be infused several times.

These folks do display teas well...

Reply:If you go to the Republic of tea%26#039;s website they should have some of whatever it is if you would know it when you see it. Good luck with that. I love tea and that sounds cool.
Reply:I bought those at a tea shop in Port Townsend, Washington last year. I think they are called %26quot;Lotus Flower Jasmine Tea Balls%26quot;. Love the way they look, tea was good too.
